Thermoformed Product "Concept-To-Reality"
Have you ever had an idea, and sketched a rough design on your dinner napkin? Then wondered who could possibly bring your thermoformed plastic concept to life?
This is a common request from many of our customers, for our engineering team here at Spencer Industries Inc. We can help turn that Concept into Reality. Spencer Industries will assign one of our team members to work one-on-one with you to help manage your project. |

Our Plastic Thermoforming Process
- Rough Concept
- 2D Drawing
- Quote
- 3D Part Data
- 3D Mold Design
- Production Mold
- Thermoformed and CNC Trimmed Product
- Finished Product
All product starts with some type of rough concept. We receive many different types, even one like the paper towel displayed above.
Our engineering team will then create a 2D Drawing.
Once the final size is established, we provide an accurate quote.
Before tooling fabrication can start a 3D data is generated for accuracy.
A thermoforming mold is designed to provide the best material distribution for the acutal part's specific geometry.
A production temperature controlled mold is created and actual samples are provided.
Dimensionally repeatable product is then produced and trimmed in required quantities.
Proper design and material selection allow us to provide durable products to our customers.
