Job Description

Responsible for processing customer purchase orders and shipment schedules in an efficient and timely manner. This position requires very good inter-personal skills, as it is essential that a good relationship be maintained with all assigned customers. Good computer skills and good communication skills are required. The job entails constant coordination with Production, Engineering, and Shipping, so that customer on-time delivery expectations can be met. Must be knowledgeable of each customer’s product line.

Specific Duties

  1. Enters or verifies that customer purchase orders / customer releases are entered into the IQMS system.
  2. Abide by the company’s quoted price breaks and lead times when accepting orders.
  3. Must have a proactive approach in monitoring accounts that utilizes a supplier managed inventory agreement (Min / Max / ROQ process).
  4. Monitor the status of customer orders on the production schedule and alert scheduler of necessary changes
  5. Update customer selling prices in IQMS, as needed
  6. Work with our Shipping Department to make sure finished goods are shipped on-time to meet our customer expectations
  7. Electronically prepare pick lists thru IQMS for the Shipping Dept., and Advance Shipping Notices, as required.
  8. Resolve quantity, part number, and pricing differences with the customer, and follow up with accounting to correct related billing errors.
  9. Must maintain a positive and professional approach, especially when dealing with our Customers

Job Description:

Responsible for assisting the Master Production Scheduler by performing key tasks to enable efficient processing of production at various workstations on the shop floor. (Will require early hours to accommodate the time difference between plants)

Specific Duties

  1. Generate work orders in IQMS for production
  2. Schedule Satellite Facilities (Ohio, South Carolina)
  3. Assemble work orders and manufacturing plans to make up packets for the shop floor
  4. Make part and shift stickers
  5. Make copies of Regrind tags.
  6. Print off inventory after production runs to verify counts.
  7. Prints and stuffs $2.00 OEE envelopes
  8. Go through closed work orders daily
  9. File closed work orders

Job Description:

Directs daily thermoforming production on the assigned shift through the supervision of salaried and hourly personnel. Responsible for meeting production goals in accordance with established quality standards, promoting adherence to safety rules, and employing the company’s 6S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Must be knowledgeable of all assigned machinery and equipment, and must be knowledgeable of the production process. Works closely with and gives guidance to all plant employees.

Specific Duties

  1. Oversees all aspects of daily thermoforming production and personnel issues, on the assigned shift.
  2. Works with all plant personnel to meet daily production goals in accordance with established quality standards
  3. Monitors product cycle times and material yield
  4. Works with QA, Engineering, Extrusion, Production Scheduling, and Maintenance to address problems with production or equipment
  5. Communicates with the Plant Manager regarding manpower status and/or the need for overtime to meet production schedules
  6. Monitors the condition of all production machinery and equipment and makes suggestions for repairs, upgrades, or replacement
  7. Responsible for accurate production record keeping and reporting
  8. Evaluates, guides, and trains subordinate employees
  9. Reprimands, disciplines, or terminates subordinate employees in accordance with company policies

Must have mechanical ability and be able to read, monitor, and understand various measures, gauges, and instruments. Must safely set up and operate rotary thermoforming machines and route formed parts on CNC routing machines when necessary.  Must follow the Manufacturing Plan at all times.

  1. Set up and operate Rotary thermoforming machines in a safe manner.
  2. Complete all necessary paperwork for set ups and production.
  3. Monitor quality of parts per Manufacturing Plan.
  4. Ensure machine is running at the standard cycle time.
  5. Make heat/timing adjustments as necessary.
  6. Safely load and unload CNC routing machines.
  7. Pack finished goods for shipment.
  8. Perform any other work as directed per Supervision.

Job Description:

This a multi-craft position that requires a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and some basic PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred). The position provides preventative maintenance, routine, and emergency support to the production machinery and the facility in an industrial environment. Must have the ability to recognize defects and possess problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, plumbing, equipment rebuilding, and mechanical fabrication, reading electrical and mechanical prints, and setting up precision CNC machinery. Performs other work as directed.

Specific Duties

  1. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematic diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
  2. Must have the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and install single and 3-phase electrical power, and controls circuits including 480 volt service using a digital multi-meter.
  3. Must have the ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
  4. Ability to fabricate metal using an acetylene torch and MIG welding techniques a plus.
  5. Understanding of PLCs, troubleshooting, program logic, circuits, and drives a plus
  6. Understanding of common plumbing practices a plus.
  7. Understanding of the Thermoforming process a plus

An A.S. Degree in a related field, or practical experience in industrial maintenance.

Job Description:

Responsible for in-depth troubleshooting and the repair, maintenance, and adjustment of all industrial production machinery and processing equipment, secondary trim equipment, mold shop machines and equipment, material handling and transfer equipment and building systems.  Must have the ability to recognize defects and possess problem-solving skills.  Responsible for the fabrication and installation of new and used machinery and equipment.  Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate source of trouble.  Inspects new parts to detect imperfections and used parts to determine reason for failure and/or necessary changes in dimensional requirements.  Repairs or replaces defective parts as necessary.  Responsible to insure proper compliance to safety and lock-out regulations, codes, and operating requirements.  May direct the activities and training of Maintenance Helper Trainees, and Preventive Maintenance job classifications.  Performs other work as directed.

Job Description:

Must have mechanical ability and be able to read, monitor and understand various measures, gauges and instruments. Must learn to set-up and operate Extrusion Machinery in a prescribed period of time in order to progress to operator’s status. Very heavy lifting is required daily. Must be physically able to carry heavy loads up stairways and ladders. Performs other work as directed by Supervisor. Must complete Work Keys testing requirements.

  1. Teardown, setup, and maintain all equipment systems (non-electrical).
  2. Operate and monitor extruders during production of plastic sheet.
  3. Perform quality checks on extruded material.
  4. Band and barcode finished skids of extruded sheet.
