CNC Technician – Wapello, IA

Plant Location: Wapello, Iowa

Pay Grade: 4A ($16.51 – $18.43)

Shift: 1^st (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM), 2^nd  (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM), or 3^rd(10:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Paygrade: 3C – $19.65 – $21.77

** $1.50/hr attendance bonus will be added to the hourly base rate**

*** $2/hr shift premium will be added to the hourly rate for 2^nd and 3^rd shift***

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for setting up and lining out CNC machines as accurately and efficiently as possible. Works in conjunction with the Forming Set Up Tech. Literacy in CNC operation and programming of five-axis and three-axis router machines is critical. Blue print reading and math skills are required. Must be able to read, monitor, and understand various measures, gauges, and instruments.

Specific Duties

1. Responsible for setting up and lining out CNC machines
2. Measure parts accurately and quickly.
3. Make adjustments when needed
4. Report problems to Set Up Manager
5. Complete Production Startups
6. Complete Set Up Feedback Report
7. Completes any other work as directed by Supervision.
8. Perform standardized work per the Manufacturing Plan’s Process Methods.

Backup

There are four CNC techs on each shift to function as backup.

Qualifications

A.S. degree or practical experience.
