Jay Porter

A Regional Sales Manager covering primarily the Southeast Region of the United States. As a part of the Sales Team, I bring a very helpful hand with both our current customers and new customers. I lean heavily on my Engineering degree and background as well as my “teaching spirit”. I want to make sure the folks I am working with understand what we can do and how we do it.

I have been with Spencer Industries since 2002 and served the first 9.5 years in Engineering. Since then I have been in Sales Management, a role that I have learned to really enjoy! When I am not working, you will most likely find me riding my bike, hanging out with my wife and kids or enjoying a good bourbon!

I often like to say, you will start out as a customer and we will end up as friends!
